Michael Salawu was appointed as the Ag. Regional Manager of NICON Insurance Limited (South-West) in April 2021.
He graduated from the Polytechnic Ibadan in 1995 with a Higher National Diploma in Insurance. Michael proceeded to West African Insurance Institute, Gambia in 2002 where he graduated with a Distinction.
He was the Manager, NICON Insurance Limited, Ilorin Branch, Kwara State from 2018 to 2021, and previously served as Head (Agency Department) at the Head Office in Abuja,
He also worked with African Alliance Insurance Company, Head Office Lagos from 1998 to 2006.
Michael is a seasoned insurer with over two decades of hands-on experience in Insurance and finance. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance institute of Nigeria (CIIN) since 2013, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (CII London) since 2012 and also an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) since 2004.
He is happily married with children.
