David joined NICON Insurance Limited in September 2018 as Senior Manager, Marketing and is currently Acting Head of the Lagos Head Office Annex where he supervises all the branches of the company in the Lagos Area.
Before joining NICON, David was Head of Marketing and Business Development at Livingstone Insurance Brokers. He had earlier served as Senior Manager, Marketing at Prestige Assurance Plc and Manager, Operations and Marketing at Cosmic Insurance Brokers. He has also worked in several other organisations in the Nigerian financial sector in the course of a career spanning more than thirty years.
He bagged a Masters’ degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Port Harcourt in 2001 and a Higher National Diploma in Insurance from the Lagos State Polytechnic in 1988.
David Atanda is a Fellow of the Risk and Insurance Society of Nigeria, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and Associate of the Nigeria Chartered Institute of Management.
David is happily married and blessed with children.
